Charlene Morell finds joy in teaching youth, women's ministry, and sharing the Gospel. She adores scripture and loves coming alongside of truth seekers. Charlene serves in middle school, travels to Sierra Leone each year to partner with a children’s home and pastors in Africa, and in her professional life is a leader.

Andy Bruce is a California girl through and through although she and her family of 5 have lived in Virginia for 20 years. Andy’s husband is also named Andy – their friends and family fondly refer to them as Andy Boy and Andy Girl. Andy and her husband had 3 children in less than 3 years and there is never a dull moment in their house! She is a fun-loving extrovert who enjoys spending time in a living room full of people, spontaneously going on an adventure, and reading a good book. 
 

Professionally, Andy finished her doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2018 and now teaches in higher education and is the high school principal at Onward Christian Academy.

Andy has served in women’s and youth ministry for over 20 years and nothing puts a smile on her face like watching students and women surrender and pursue Jesus with all of their heart. Andy can’t stop talking about all things leadership. Leading emerging leaders deeper in their relationships with Jesus by giving them practical steps and easy-to-use tools is her obsession!

I am super excited to see girls come to Space Camp Girls because I believe in the beauty of having intentional, set apart time spent with Jesus in community. I’ve seen a craving in the girls of this generation to experience and have something real to trust in. I hope with eager expectation that  they will be able to know what it means to be in relationship with Jesus and to move toward the next step that the Lord has for them.
